Good Voice, But Creepy
June 24th, 2008
When I first watched this video(well every time actually) i was creeped out. Then I was thinking “no way is this guy actually singing to this” but it’s live so I guess you can’t really do much to edit it.
I checked out his other videos, and yup, this guy sings this high. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a good singer. But it creeps me out.
He also sings ‘normally’ in some videos, and I think he has an amazing singing voice either way… I guess. There aren’t that many people that can sing like that(though not many people would probably try).

How do people view the world?
June 1st, 2008
Well you can’t exactly tell. But i found this cool tool on the web that does something similar.
Its called Montage-a-google. A web base application that uses Googles image search to create a montage. For example, if you type in “Hot Women” you will find you get a montage of hot women you can post on your wall or whatever.
Another cool thing is if you put in… say “Blue” you will obviously get images associated with blue. So you can make cool colorful montages.(See Right)
But back to the world viewing part, say you search anything… an example would be searching “Canada”. So how are people viewing/tagging Canada? Apparently we are a map, some coat of arms, and some relatively tall buildings.
I found one for Flickr aswell, but I’ll post more on that one later.
Here is a link to the Montage-a-Google.

Browsing the web… with your browser
May 28th, 2008
If you are reading this right now you are browsing the web… with your browser. But what web browser are you using? Safari, Firefox, Opera, Internet explorer are the
big ones out there.
Let’s be serious here, the only good browser is Firefox, its safe, fast browsing has appealed to millions of people. And lets face it… Internet explorer sucks balls. Frequent Crashes, Compatibility issues, Security issues, and its made by Microsoft…
If you are using Internet explorer right now, you should:
1. Visit this site…and then come back… i’ll wait
Now do you see how terrible Internet explorer is?
2. Hit yourself in the face
3. Go download Firefox
4. profit
Not that i am advertising Firefox, but honestly… Internet explorer is a terrible web browser and should not exist.

Yet another last.fm post
May 21st, 2008
As i spend more and more time listening to Last.fm i find out more about audio scrobbling. This is such an amazing way to keep track of the music you love and you have listened to in the past. Have you ever listened to a song and then 2 hours later think to yourself “Dammit! What was the name of that song i heard”, well log in to last.fm and find out. With it’s syncing with iTunes, and most media players out there, anything you listen to will be up on last.fm. This definitely is a huge plus to putting everything through last.fm.
Check out what I’ve listened to lately by looking at the widget on the right side of my site. ——>

Boston Pizza - Good or just expensive?
May 19th, 2008
Nowadays, restaurants and clothing stores are getting more and more expensive, but why? Because the gas prices are going higher so they figure they should step it up a bit? I think John Chow said it best when he explained the raising prices of goods in Padong, Shanghai as people wanting to spend more, just because they have more money. Like showing off to your friends “yea i just got these shoes for $150″ and yet you can get the same ones at wallmart for $20.
Its all about showing off in this generation, the more expensive items you have, the better you look. Whether it be iPhones, Pearl necklaces, big house, car, pretty much anything you can see when you are out in public, people want to spend more and more.Same with restaurants, “yea lets go there, its $25 for a pizza, but its cool, i can afford it because I’m a money machine”, this is how our generation feels about restaurants and consumer products.
Is that $25 pizza better than Pizza Pizza, or Little Ceasers?
Debatable, but still not worth $25.
So I’m off to Boston Pizza, though it’s expensive, it better be damn good.

Household Media Evolution
May 17th, 2008
The more time i spend browsing the internet the more i am amazed at how media has evolved. 10-15 years ago you would’nt find anything close to the vast media our web is congested with now. The possibilities are endless, from adsense, to youtube, to interactive games across the internet.
Whats to come? I was reading a magazine that showed you how to code a webcam interactive website through flash, which is pretty impressive, but im thinking deeper into technology. Computers are becoming more and more portable, and the internet is becoming more and more available.
In my mind, its good to get a grip on this stuff now, because eventually everything will be on the internet. I belive Cable companies will stop providing cable, and everyone will have media center PC’s that stream satellite like tv(like this site). Even today, you can bypass the mall and pickup anything online and have it delivered, imagine what possibilities we could have in the future?
It boggles my mind. What household device/service will be outdone by the internet in the future?
