Talk about data recovery

When i was scimming the news i came across an interesting story. 99% of the data from the melted hard drives of the space shuttle Columbia have been recovered. The process took 2 days to do, which included taking it apart, soaking its platters in a chemical solution and then rebuilding it into a new disk. If thats not serious data recovery, i dont know what is.
